Hi i downloaded the game and installed it. But the game is not launching its saying the error 'the procedure entry point SteamApps could not be located in the dynamic link library l:gamesgrand theft auto vGTALauncher.exe.' Before this the error was the steamapi64.dll was missing but i downloaded it and pasted it then this error came.When i go to the redist folder and run the QuickSFV it says the status of steamapi64.dll as 'FAILED. CRC mismatch' its says that 1 file is bad (steamapi64.dll )plz help it took 2 months to download this game i really want to play this. Then click on the 'Local Files' tab and in that menu select 'Verify Integrity of Game Files.' .Don't worry, all it does is scan the game files.

It does NOT re-download them. However, it WILL download any pieces that may have gone 'missing', so to speak, during your lengthy download. So be patient with it.Theoretically, that should fix your issue (assuming you haven't tried it already), as it sounds like you are missing some very small files that slipped through the cracks either during download or install. This should fix that.My other idea is that you somehow didn't download it to a valid Steam directory, in which case all you have to do is cut (or copy)/paste the game into (Drive Letter):Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommon. If that path doesn't exist, just create it.Keep in mind your 'program files' folder won't have the '(x86)' bit if you are running 32-bit Windows.
