New Vegas Mask Mod
Wear Modular Clothing And Armour One of the strange points of difference between Bethesda's Elder Scrolls and Fallout series (aside from dragons and atomic bombs) is on the armour front. While armour in Elder Scrolls has traditionally been segmented for different parts of the body, Fallout armour was always simpler, only letting you wear a single giant piece of armour as if it were some kind of dirty, bullet-proof onesie. That's all changing with Fallout 4, as Bethesda is introducing Elder Scrolls-style modular armour into the post-apocalyptic saga. You'll be able to pick separate bits of armour for different parts of your body, customising your appearance to be the dandiest wanderer of the wasteland. Bethesda probably nabbed this idea from the Tailor Maid mod for New Vegas, which lets you mix and match different bits of clothing for different parts of your body. Want to do an MJ and wear just one glove? Fancy living on the edge by wearing one kneepad rather than two?

Just because everyone's obsessing about day-to-day survival all the time doesn't negate the need for some sense of fashion in the wasteland.
. 0 sharesAs many fans of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG franchise will often attest, the -developed Fallout: New Vegas is far and away the best game in the series thanks to its solid combat and gear system, varied quests, and in-depth social interactions with a colorful cast of non-playable characters. With this being the case, one modder by the name of SirBumfreyDiggles has decided to take the entire map for New Vegas and update it in a major way by modding it into Fallout 4, Bethesda’s most recent entry in the franchise. As seen below in the video from the F4NV Project’s YouTube page, SirBumfreyDiggles and several of his cohorts have already managed to recreate some parts of New Vegas in, as they have been able to to bring Goodsprings and Primm to the game so far. Considering the fact that this is a work in progress, the early stages of what has been modded into the game looks quite spectacular, even though the draw distance is short and the level of detail is practically non-existent.Although the New Vegas into Fallout 4 mod is still early in development, the project’s team has the loftier goal to not only recreate the buildings and world, but also to use that as a foundation to write new quests.
That said, though, SirBumfreyDiggles has admitted that bringing the New Vegas quests into Fallout 4 with the mod is not totally off the table, but such a feat could only be done with some of the base quests.Naturally, when one bears in mind the popularity of New Vegas, it should come as no surprise that SirBumfreyDiggles’ is far from the only modder looking to breathe new life into the 2010 release. As it so happens, there are a plethora of other mods for the Obsidian Entertainment-developed title that make the game feel brand new, with being one that acts as an impressive, albeit unofficial expansion of sorts.Taking all of this into account, the fact that modders like SirBumfreyDiggles are still tinkering with New Vegas assets speaks to how fervent the adoration is for the game from Obsidian Entertainment. With any luck, the studio will eventually get its wish to work on another entry in the post-apocalyptic RPG series, as the developer has previously said it.Fallout 4 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while Fallout: New Vegas is available for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.Source: (via ).
