And we are the beneficiaries is his prodigeous talents. This is Kens' third cd to date, and again, he doesn't disappoint the listener, he has taken the time out of his busy life to offer this cd to the unsuspecting prog public.

No Chin Music

What he does at his personnel studio is amazing, the fact that he is doing this music as the sole performer is hard to believe.Musically, he has a strong emphasis on radical keyboard arrangements, with some of the most perplexing layering you can imagine, he also is an excellent guitarist, and apparently a fantastic producer/engineer. Of course working alone means he is using digital drums, but on this cd you wouldn't even notice, as you will be immersed in the songs depth and details, and he is using a very nice sounding drum programmer. One could easily listen to this and hear strong echoes of Happy the Man, Zappa, UK, & Shawn Lane.It's sad that todays demands can take a major talent like Ken Watson, and keep him from persuing his calling as a musician, and fronting a band, but the silver lining is that todays technology and homestudio gear has allowed people like KW the opportunity to be creative and get heard. In summary, Ken has delivered three solid recordings thus far, and he remains dedicated and faithful to his progressive calling on each of these.

The lovers of highly sophisticated, complex, and deep music will find Ken Watsons' music a great addition to their collections.
