It is EFFECTIVE GG. May be you don't trust me, but after you try that i think you will find it super USEFUL.There is an awesome guide written by MCPH to teach you who to reduce lag. But it is not enough. Here is more, more than enough xd.
So there are generally two kinds of lag, and everyone knows that, The Server Lag and the Client Lag. So i will separate to introduce different ways to reduce lag from both perspective.For Client:So for client lag, we are going to read something written by, a Level 43 Pro mine crafter in planetminecraft GG. Search Disk Cleanup in the start menu, and you should find a program called such. Open it and select your main device, usually it the C:/ drive( OS (C ) then click OK. Check and reduce Console ErrorsErrors will occur when your plugins is having problems on performing certain task or something else. Most are easily solved with a Google search and you should get into the habit of fixing your own server.Check If you see any 'SEVERE' errors, this might be be the cause of your super lag spike. You can remove the plugins, or download the latest version of the plugins. Sometimes downloading the Dev Snapshot or preview can resolve the problem.
Finding a plugin replacement for the one who cause a series of errors may help you as well. Try and troubleshoot these errors. Google is your friend and we have a knowledgebase full of guides.If you see 'End of Stream' with a 'SEVERE' tag, do not be alarmed. Unless this is spamming in your console this it not an issue.2. Latency LagIf you want to check your latency with a server just log onto Minecraft and add the server you want to test to your list of servers.When it's added there will be a small icon in the top right on the server field just above the amount of slots the server holds.If you hover the icon it will tell you the ping of the server.
